This service will turn your standard Cyma spring shotgun into a semi-automatic beast, powered by an internal gas supply (black gas/propane/propylene, along with a small 11.1v Lipo battery to operate the system.) This shotgun conversion features a gas tank inside the ‘magazine tube’ of the shotgun, allowing you to have all the awesomeness of a semi-auto shotgun, without the hose or tank.
Unlike HPA, the gas system does have the limitations of gas cooldown effects, especially as the tank is not replaced with each magazine as per gas blow back rifle. It would therefore be recommended for slower/milsim type games as opposed to intense speedsoft-type gameplay. 3 or 4 shells emptied as fast as you can, and the velocity will drop considerably. But with less intense shooting, the gas tank has a chance to maintain temperatures through a game. Each gas fill will shoot between 5 and 10 shells (50-100 shots), depending on the starting temperature of the tank and fill load. (a chilled tank and a warm gas bottle will mean more gas load).
We recommend only performing this on long Cyma spring tri-shot shotguns, either Benelli M3 such as CM370 or CM373 or Remington 870 models such as CM350L. Whilst we technically can fit a gas tank into the smaller shotguns, the lower gas capacity would make it less practical for gameplay, but may work as a sidearm for firing one or two shells off.
The shotguns keep their look, use the same 30rnd shells and tri-shot burst, but will now fire each time you pull the trigger! Velocity of around 220-240fps with 0.30g BBs and the same hop-up performance as standard springer tri-shots (surprisingly good) make these ideal for both CQB and the closer engagements in woodland.
Remington 870 models will include the receiver being milled with a slot and fitted with a cocking lever to make it appear like a Remington V3 semi-automatic shotgun. However, custom parts like a semi-auto forend, to make the Remington truly look like a semi-auto, will be charged as an additional cost.
